1. FIDE rules & regulation will be applied in this competition.
2. In this chess competition, there will be 9 rapid and 9 blitz Swiss rounds all together.
3. The Swiss Manager Program will be used for pairings.
4. For Rapid event, each player has 20 minutes + 10 seconds increment.
5. For Blitz event, each player has 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment.
6. Movement must be made if the chessmen had been touched (touched-move) unless it is confirmed as an illegal move by the Arbiter.
7. The overall position is calculated based on the point collected over the 9 rounds.
- Draw – ½ point
- Lose – 0 point
8. If the points are the same, the position will be calculated based on the tie break (Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, Sonneborn-Berger and Direct Encounter).
9. All officials & players should be smartly attired in the playing hall.
10. All decisions made by the Chief Arbiter are final.
